June Daily Devotionals: God Your Father

We hear about God the Father, but do you see him as your father?  The Bible tells you of God’s love for you.  It says how He created you, loves you, trains you, rewards you, protects you, communicates with you, and disciplines you - as a truly good father should.  He makes sure you know He loves you and you are important to Him,  but He also helps you to be more loving and loved by how he treats you.  Just as an earthly father wants the best for his children, you as a child of God are given what is best for you. A good father  does not spoil his children by giving them all they desire.  Instead a loving father provides what is needed - plus some good things that should not hinder personal growth or spiritual maturity.  Ask God your Father and see what He will provide to those who are loved by Him.
