Four Things You Lack to Save Yourself

salvation,savior

Do you ever fell like you are sinking in despair and there is no way out?  Do you wonder how God can possibly love you?  When you think of all the things you are doing wrong, it can get you down and make you feel stuck.  However, God does not love only people who are perfect.  He knows everyone is lacking in something.  That is why He sent His son, Jesus Christ to save you because he knew you could not do it for yourself.

4 Things You (as man/woman) Lack to Save Yourself

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die:
yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:6-8 (KJV)

1. Strength – you are not strong enough to do it alone.
2. Worthiness – you are unworthy of God’s goodwill by yourself.
3. Righteousness – you are an ungodly sinner and God hates sin,
4. Friendship – as a sinner you are an enemy of God so you cannot get near him.

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son,
much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood,
we shall be saved from wrath through him.” - Romans 5:9-10 (KJV)

As you can see from the scriptures above, the good news is that you can be brought to God through Jesus Christ (His son).  God wants to change your relationship with Him.  Why?  God loves you and wants to reclaim/adopt you as His child
