Rely on God

Psalm 39:7
People can disappoint you.  You may expect them to help you or to fill a promise made to you.  Sometimes this happens and sometimes it does not.  Putting your trust in people, politics, or power for your future may cause you great emotional heartache and possibly physical pain.  There is only one you can always trust to have your best interest at heart - GOD.

"It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man". - Psalm 118:8 (KJV)

People can be weak, selfish, and deceitful. God is none of those things.  God is powerful, benevolent, and trustworthy.  You may find your resolve wavering, but know that He cares about you.  God can never disappoint, as He knows what is best for you.  You can always rely on God to come through for you.  He is your all-time provider and the basis of your future testimony.

"... that we should not trust in ourselves,
but in God which raiseth the dead:" - 2 Corinthians 1:9 (KJV)

You may be tired, sore, afraid, and/or hopeless.  Given your current circumstances, you may feel you cannot go on with life as it is. If you will fervently and honestly pray while acknowledging God for His support, He will provide what you need to continue.  It may require patience and genuine trust on your part, yet you can be sure all will work out in His time and according to His plan. Just rely on God and He will give you hope and provide what you need at the right time.
