If Crisis Comes, Cry Out to God When Distressed

The world is in crisis.  In many places, the governments are requesting social and physical changes or their people.   Most are hoping their citizen will exercise common sense and follow guidelines that are meant to stay or reduce the crisis.  A few may be trying to enforce these changes using their civil forces in the medical profession or local police forces, while others may have to use military personnel.  Is there a higher power than government, medicine, finances, or science that everyone should be turning to?

"If calamity comes upon us,
whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine,
we will stand in Your presence
before this temple that bears Your Name and
will cry out to You in our distress, and You will hear us and save us."
- 2 Chronicles 20:9 (NIV)

In the Bible, God tells us that we can turn to Him in any kind of crisis and He will help us.  If you are afraid, sick, or hurting in other ways - ask God for help.  If you know others who need God's touch, pray for them.  As declared in Psalms 107, if we want deliverance, we should cry out to God now.

"He sent out His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction."
- Psalm 107:20 (ESV)
