The Ultimate Life Coach

In Ladders article Reasons Successful Professionals Hire a Life Coach it highlights "A life coach will dwell on your future, not your past."  

That sound like JESUS!  Christ is the ultimate life coach, guide, mentor, and partner.  He forgives your past, takes you where you are now, and leads you to a better life in the future.  

"Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God,
ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come,
and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back,
my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition;
but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." - Hebrews 10:35-39 (KJV)

Below are some examples of what life coaches do.  Can you see how Jesus does this for you?  Consider making a personal list of ways Jesus Christ can coach you to be what you are meant to be in Him.

• He helps you reach your potential and keeps you focused on a plan/objective  
• A life coach holds you accountable for your actions and growth 
• He motivates you and helps relieve your stress through talks (Prayer) and study materials (Bible, Studies, Devotionals, Fasting, etc.)
• A life coach gives you insight into yourself and your purpose/mission
